Mumbai is a city of contrasts. It is dark, dirty and smells strange. But is one of the safest places I have been. You see hundreds of people sleeping, shaving, bathing on the streets and beggers and local snobs smoking a sisha and backpackers close to the Gate of India and those black taxis... And you are one of them and nothing may happen to you.
